Loading Containers

Standard Bulk Containers are top loaded and bottom discharged.
Triple Door containers and Containers with removable bottom doors allow for palletised or packed goods to be loaded. This dual method of loading the container (bulk or packed goods) allows for bulk material transport on initial leg of trip and packed material on return leg (or vice versa) , thus optimising the return leg.

Load with Rocket Rail Loading System

PRE-LOAD TRAIN  -  FASTEST LOADING OPERATION  -  QUICK TRAIN TURNAROUND TIME
INCREASE LOAD DELIVERY -  INCREASE PRODUCTION POTENTIAL  -  MINE SHARING CAPABILITIES
-  LESS CAPITAL NEEDED THAN CONVENTIONAL CONVEYOR LOADING SYSTEM  -

ADVANTAGE ON RAIL

FASTEST CURRENT LOADING PROCESS - WORLD WIDE!
NO TIPPLER REQUIRED FOR OFFLOAD.

  • A Rail Operation in Mpaka, where 26 wagons are unloaded in 2.2 hours with only 2 Forklifts.
  • Increase the number of Forklifts, decrease unloading time, decrease train turnaround time and increase production capabilities.
  • Extra bulk capacity through container wagons.
  • Mixed-load capability.
  • Reduced turnaround time.
  • 2 Bottom Discharge Containers per flat wagon.
  • Giving any size operation the chance to compete in the export industry with minimal capital outlay.

ADVANTAGE ON ROAD

Half height containers transported 4 at a time

Liquid one way and bulk material the other on the same truck, optimising backloads.

THE MISSING LINK IN DOOR TO DOOR BULK MATERIAL DELIVERY

  • Fully ISO compliant containers for road transport of bulk materials.
  • DOOR to DOOR  bulk material delivery.
  • Eliminates product degredation - minimal product loading and unloading.
  • Discharge product on arrival at client's depot - no waiting for manual unloading of product.
  • Half height containers allow for double stacked empties to free up 12m of deck space, optimising return leg efficiency.

ADVANTAGE AT SEA

CONTAINERS ARE FULLY ISO COMPLIANT AND BULK MATERIAL CAN THEREFORE BE LOADED INTO CONTAINERS AND TRANSPORTED ON CONTAINER SHIP.

CONTAINERS CAN BE FILLED ON TRUCK AND DISCHARGED DIRECTLY INTO SHIP'S HOLD
AS SHOWN IN BELOW PROCESS

Fully loaded containers are transported by truck to ship's crane

Ship's crane with spreader attaches to the standard BDC containers

Ship's crane places the container into the ship's hold, lowers the doors and using the spreader discharges material into hold. The crane, using the spreader, closes the doors and the container is placed back onto the truck trailer, once both containers are emptied the truck returns to the loading site.

A second truck carrying full containers arrives and the process is restarted.

DISCHARGING CONTAINERS

Easily discharge containers using Forklift, Reachstacker, Cranes, SLT Sidelifting trailers and other material handling equipment
